Solo le religioni tentano di rispondere alla domanda sul senso dell'esistenza.

Non esiste una risposta laica che non sia tra quelle che hai già ricevuto.

"La vita non vale nulla, stante che la sua fine ci riporta dove eravamo prima del suo inizio, nel nulla dell'inesistenza".

Le religioni cercano di dare risposte anche molto fantasiose, alcune ben articolate, altre approssimative e semplicistiche.

Se esiste un aldilà non materiale non abbiamo alcuna possibilità di conoscerlo, e quindi di indagarlo, né di poterlo minimamente comprendere.

Il paradiso mussulmano fatto di sesso (le vergini) e benessere è una rappresentazione maschilista di un aldilà anche troppo chiaramente materiale.

Il paradiso cristiano ha tratti che mi sono sempre risultati incomprensibili, forse come è giusto che sia, con la sua "visione beatifica di Dio". La Nuova Gerusalemme e il banchetto eterno risultano più comprensibili ma condividono la visione terrena riscontrabile in quello islamico.

Quindi se esiste un aldilà è inutile cercare di ragionarci sopra, perché finiremmo per ricavarne immagini molto terrestri o nessuna immagine comprensibile.

Eppure...eppure continuo a trovare troppo affrettata la conclusione nichilista di chi si atteggia ad ateo (o magari lo è sinceramente). Di fronte a fatti che trovo inspiegabili, credo personalmente onesto evitare risposte prive di fondamento. Che senso ha la vita? Non lo so. Esiste qualcosa dopo la morte? Non lo so. Se la vita ha un senso non siamo ancora riusciti ad afferrarlo (lasciando per il momento da parte le religioni) ma ciò non consente di escludere che esista. La scienza non si permetterebbe mai di procedere a questo modo, occupandosi peraltro di faccende materiali. Posso dirti la mia impressione, condivisa da una lunga sequela di individui del passato che risale agli albori dell'intelligenza.

Riconoscere la propria ignoranza non costituisce una risposta, lascia insaziato il desiderio di conoscenza ed a me suggerisce il sospetto che in realtà nulla sia privo di senso, anche se questo ci rimane nascosto. Trovo impossibile, pur senza nemmeno cercarne una introvabile giustificazione razionale, che l'esistenza sia globalmente priva di senso quando ogni suo dettaglio ne è sempre più inesplicabilmente ricco. Proprio la scienza narra che nulla è casuale, che leggi rigorose (quand'anche statistiche) regolano ogni minimo accadimento, che tutto si lega sempre più strettamente ogni volta che il nostro sguardo riesce a farsi più acuto. Saremmo in presenza di un meccanismo raffinatissimo, ricco di dettagli straordinariamente sensati ed armonici, protesi a formare un insieme privo di significato. Forse è troppo per me, che trovo la cosa, oltre che incomprensibile come cercavo di dire, impossibile da credere senza valide giustificazioni.

In tutto questo sono confortato da una fiducia nel "senso" risalente ai primi ominidi, che hanno lasciato traccia della loro fede incisa sulle rocce o nelle sepolture dei loro morti, e che attraversa poi tutta la storia, tutti i popoli, tutti i continenti. Paura della morte? Ignoranza? O non piuttosto la sensazione di un senso sfuggente a cui è impossibile sottrarsi?

Alla fine forse la religiosità non è un'espressione così idiota dell'animo umano e molte religioni potrebbero condividere brandelli di verità. Magari non esiste un religione giusta ma solo una giusta religiosità (su cui ci sarebbe molto da dire), che si avvale di volta in volta degli strumenti di cui si trova a disporre.

Lo scopo di questa unica vita , che è dono, (puoi morire da un momento all'altro) è conoscere e amare Dio. Questa è la cosa più importante che tutti dovrebbero capire: la loro salvezza è preziosa agli occhi di Dio.

Se non esistesse l'evoluzione umana, la vita su

questa terra non avrebbe nessun senso.

Lo scopo della vita non è la vita attuale della durata di pochi decenni, ma la vita eterna che Adamo perse a motivo della sua disubbidienza a Dio. Lo scopo della vita è racchiuso in queste poche parole che Dio rivolse alla prima coppia umana: "Siate fecondi e moltiplicatevi e riempite la terra e soggiogatela..." (Genesi 1:28)

- dopo la morte c'è il cimitero e dell'ottimo concime per le piante

- lo scopo della vita è la vita stessa, non è sufficiente?

- per te la vita in se stessa non ha scopo? e per quale motivo? allora non dovresti neanche voler alzarti dal letto la mattina visto che tanto non c'è scopo... no?

- lo scopo della vita per gli animali è la stessa che per noi... vivere

- idem per gli umani che vivono "allo stato brado" lo scopo è la vita stessa

Quello che c'era prima della vita, cioè prima di nascere.
